The game is a based on Defense of the Ancients from here the name (DotA) has been came from. Dota 2 matches is played between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players individually controls a powerful character, known as a "hero", who have a unique abilities and defending skill of play.
During a match, players collect experience coins and gems for their heroes to empower their character to defeat their opposing team's heroes in player versus player combat. A team wins by being the first to destroy the other team base camp or empire. Dota2 is game mostly played in tournament for choosing the best skilled gamer.
